Stranger stabs teen in stomach during unprovoked attack on MTA bus: sources

A stranger stabbed a 16-year-old boy in an unprovoked attack on board a Queens MTA bus Tuesday, cops and law enforcement sources said.The teen was riding a Q25 bus at 82nd Drive and Parsons Boulevard in Kew Gardens Hills around 3:50 p.m.when the unhinged rider suddenly knifed him once in the stomach, cops said.The boy did not know his attacker, and the two hadn’t interacted previously, the sources said. The teen was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, police said. Cops simply described the attacker as a person between 20 and 30 years old, last seen wearing a purple coat and blue jeans — though sources said the suspect was believed to be a woman.  Morning Report delivers the latest news, videos, photos and more.
