The husband of “2 Fast 2 Furious” actress Devon Aoki was slapped with a hit-and-run charge after allegedly running over the foot of a scooter rider before fleeing to his $9.1 million Florida mansion this week.James Bailey, 40, is accused of hitting the scooter rider in a crosswalk while driving his white Audi SQ7 SUV in Coral Gables on Monday — and leaving the unidentified victim with “serious injuries” that included two foot fractures, Local 10 reported.Video shows the rider’s foot trapped beneath the luxury SUV’s right front tire as he slaps the hood, appearing in pain — and begging for the driver to move the vehicle.The victim’s girlfriend was also “frantically asking (Bailey) to move the vehicle back (to) release (his) foot from underneath the tire,” according to an arrest report obtained by the outlet.Moments later, the Audi reversed, knocking the man to the ground, before backing up further and accelerating forward, running over the scooter as he sped away “without rendering aid, providing information, or reporting the crash to police,” per Local 10.

The victim’s girlfriend described Bailey to cops, and investigators said that the Audi was spotted on “several” license plate readers and police cameras.Officers headed to the vehicle’s registered address — a $9.1 million, eight-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion shared by Bailey and Aoki — where they encountered the former actress and model, who told cops she “did not know the whereabouts” of the vehicle, the outlet reported.

Bailey arrived in the Audi just as officers were leaving, and they followed him into the driveway, turned on their cruiser’s lights, and a sergeant told Bailey to come toward them, according to the outlet.However, the investor “ran away” and locked himself inside the home for “several minutes,” watching the cops through the windows before he came out and was taken into custody.The Audi “had minor damage consistent with a collision with a ...
