Rams NFC West showdown with Seahawks off to an ominous start with plane delay

The Rams’ quest to get a key NFC West win in Seattle this week hit a bit of a snag.Los Angeles’ plane encountered an equipment issue on Wednesday, and it delayed the Rams’ travel to Washington, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.The flight was slated to take off late in the afternoon, but, according to Schefter, players and coaches were expected to fly out on a 737 at 8:25 p.m.ET.
Other staffers were set to board a later flight.Kickoff for the big “Thursday Night Football” matchup with the Seahawks is set for 8:15 p.m.
ET.The travel problem is not the first of this season for the Rams.Schefter said Wednesday that prior to their road game against the Cardinals earlier this month, Sean McVay had to fly separately from the team to avoid getting his players and staff sick.
