Matthew Stafford noncommittal about return to Rams

Matthew Stafford isn’t ready to commit to one more season with the Rams just yet.The Los Angeles quarterback joined Jim Gray on the “Let’s Go!” podcast on Monday, and he made it clear, he needs more time to figure out if he wants to continue calling signals in the NFL in 2026 and beyond.“I know I had a ton of fun playing football this season and had so much fun playing for the Rams,” Stafford said.“When I’m ready to figure that out, I’ll be ready to figure that out.

He also said he’s looking forward to spending more time with them now that his offseason is abruptly here.As for when he’ll make a decision about his playing future, Stafford didn’t throw out a deadline.“It will be a lot,” he said.“It will be a lot that goes into it.
