It’s time for round two of The 2026 Masters at Augusta National.Rory McIlroy is continuing his bid to become just the fourth player in Masters history to win back-to-back green jackets and the Northern Irish golfer is off to an excellent start.
He’ll enter today’s second round tied for first place after shooting an opening round of 67 (-5).Sam Burns is also atop the leaderboard after Thursday’s round.McIlroy is now the favorite to win The Masters over Scottie Scheffler, who sits tied for sixth and just three shots back from the lead.
