New details of D4vd arrest revealed after bombshell charges in 14-year-olds murder

The Singer D4vd was booked into a South Los Angeles jail late Thursday night after his arrest on murder charges in the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.The musician was taken to jail at the 77th Street Community Police Station and booked at 10:12 p.m.after LAPD officers descended on a Hollywood Hills home where he was staying and cuffed the musician around 5 p.m.D4vd, aka inmate #7221640, is being held without bail.The LAPD released new images of the Hollywood Hills takedown showing several armed officers in tactical gear swarming the home on Marmont Avenue.

One photo shows an officer breaking through the property’s front door.“We did the best we can to keep tabs on him, but once we developed probable cause to arrest him for murder, then we were on him pretty diligently,” LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division Commanding Officer Captain Scot M.Williams told The Post.

A grand jury investigation into the case began in February 2026, with D4vd named as a target.He has not spoken publicly since the discovery of Rivas’ body.Rivas’ dismembered body was discovered in the back of a Tesla belonging to D4vd back in September after employees in a tow yard could smell a foul odor coming from the vehicle. Rivas had previously been reported missing by her family in April.Shortly after the body was discovered, D4vd canceled his remaining tour dates and went silent as online speculation continued to grow around D4vd’s possible relationship with Rivas — including photos that surfaced of the two together before her disappearance.
