Brutal karma for Dem congress candidate blasting music on packed tropical beach

A long-shot Hawaii Democratic congressional candidate received a dose of brutal karma last week after he harassed beachgoers at the beach.Kirill Basin, 40, was caught on camera in his underwear, shouting and threatening people relaxing at Keawakapu Beach in South Kihei after a 61-year-old man told him to turn his music down.At one point, he’s seen walking to a group of people to argue before retreating and saying: “I told him if he wants to go to the hospital, come here.”But his loud confidence would be silenced soon enough. He got into an altercation with a large tattooed man, and tried to swing a beach chair at him.But before he could finish his swing, the man threw a powerful right-hand punch and made contact with Basin’s face. The shot knocked the Hawaii Democrat out cold.

The larger fighter rubbed Basin’s sternum until he awoke and made a declaration.“Watch your f–king mouth Haole boy,” he told Basin, using a pejorative term islanders call white people. The Hawaii Democrat later went back for more after he told the man he would “go to jail.” But he stopped shy of an altercation with the man despite running at him and shouting, “Come on, b-tch!”Witnesses at the scene allege Basin told beachgoers he had a gun and pulled a knife on the man afterward.
