An Indiana nutjob viciously bit a newborn’s face to stop it from crying — and later allegedly told cops the infant looked like a “busted up egg” when he was done with it.Authorities say Kaden Manuel Lewis Shurm, 18, began by “nibbling” on the 9-day-old baby’s cheek before repeatedly biting in a “chomping down” motion, according to FOX59.Shrum, who tips the scales at a whopping 250 pounds, was arrested and charged with felony battery with injury to a person under 14. A pediatrician first alerted child protective services to the infant’s injuries on July 14, prompting a probe by the Bloomington Police Department, according to court documents obtained by The Post.The brazen biter reportedly confessed that he bit the child to silence it at around 4 a.m.— initially “nibbling” before escalating until the newborn’s face resembled a “busted up egg.”Shrum was arrested at the hospital; the baby’s current condition remains unknown.It was not immediately clear if Shrum and the child had any relation. The lunatic also faces felony charges in separate cases for battery with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness, as well as a misdemeanor battery charge.
