RNC threatens legal action against New Jersey officials over noncitizens on voter rolls: 'On notice'

The Republican National Committee is escalating its fight with New Jersey election officials over voter roll records, threatening legal action as it seeks information related to noncitizens found on the state's rolls.The RNC sent formal National Voter Registration Act violation notices Wednesday to New Jersey's secretary of state, and election officials in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties.The committee is seeking records related to noncitizen removals, citizenship verification efforts and other voter roll maintenance activities.Officials have until Sept.
