FIRST ON FOX: Rep.Ro Khanna, D-Calif., has been floated as a potential 2028 Democratic contender for president, but his longtime ally and former senior advisor on foreign trade and economic development could be a liability due to his deep ties to Chinese Communist Party officials, a Fox News Digital investigation found.Henry Yin is a longtime California businessman and political operative who Khanna has praised for his "leadership" and has called one of his "good friends" on Facebook.
He was born in China, raised in Taiwan and then moved to the United States, where he has lived for several decades.However, while living in California, Yin has been a major player helping China get a foothold in California over the last several decades through multiple roles, including serving as a member of the California Commission for Economic Development and founding a consulting firm that included multiple corporate clients with ties to Chinese Communist Party officials. A 2011 profile piece revealed that Yin "made his fortune selling used computer equipment to China" and had "done business in China for more than a quarter-century."
