Puka Nacua expected to play week 1 against 49ers

A week after the Los Angeles Rams roster received the good news that Aaron Donald would be coming out of retirement, they got even more good news.After the conclusion of Sunday’s practice, head coach Sean McVay told Michael Duarte of The Post that wide receiver Puka Nacua is expected to play in their Week 1 opener in Australia against the San Francisco 49ers.“Yeah, absolutely, that’s what I’ve heard.I haven’t heard anything different,” McVay said after being asked if he expects Nacua to play.During Sunday’s practice session, Nacua was spotted practicing with the team, but it remains unknown if he was a full participant or limited.Nacua’s availability for Friday’s opener has been up in the air throughout the offseason, as he’s waiting to see if he’s facing potential disciplinary action from the league under its personal conduct policy for previous-off-the field behavior that includes an ongoing legal situation, after he was accused of biting Madison Atiabi and making an antisemitic remark.
