Ric Flair files $10 million lawsuit against talent agency he alleges hoodwinked him out of his digital identity

Wrestling legend Ric Flair is suing a digital ‘influencers” talent agency he claims hoodwinked him out of his image and likeness.FAM Networks promised the 16-time world champion a six-figure monthly revenue that he alleges was not delivered, according to a $10 million lawsuit obtained by The Independent on Tuesday. “What FAM did was simple: it waited until he needed help managing the digital legacy of everything he had built, presented him with a document he was not equipped to understand, told him he had lawyers when he did not, gave him fourteen minutes to read it, and walked away with a perpetual license to his identity,” Flair’s complaint said.FAM is a “cutting-edge talent-first management agency and media company representing some of the most unique and impactful influencers around the world”, according to the company’s website. The 77-year-old Flair, whose real name is Richard Fliehr, signed in December 2025 with the New York and Los Angeles-based company, which promotes and finds corporate deals for its online influencers.The two-time WWE Hall of Famer claimed to The Independent by phone that he lost around $250,000 in revenue so far and he wants to “bury” the people at FAM.The “Nature Boy” said he trusted the wrong people in the deal with a company he alleges “overpromised and underdelivered” for him. “I spent more than forty years building the name Ric Flair, with my body, my blood, and everything I had,” said Flair, who last wrestled in 2022.
