Lane Kiffins ex-wife Layla sends pointed 2-word plea before hostile LSU vs Ole Miss game

It’s fair for Ole Miss fans to harbor hostility toward LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin.Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU after leading the Rebels to an 11-1 regular-season record. He did so just a few weeks before Ole Miss appeared in the College Football Playoff.Ole Miss fans felt betrayed by this, and rightfully so.

It’s why Kiffin will be serenaded with boos on Saturday, when LSU faces Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. That being said, Kiffin’s ex-wife Layla seemingly wants fans to remain kind. This was shown by an Instagram post she made on Friday in which she wore a shirt that read, “Not my first rodeo.”“Be nice, it’s so much easier:),” the post was captioned.

One can’t say for certain that this pointed message to “Be nice” was directed at Ole Miss fans. But the timing checks out, given Saturday’s game and that Lane and Layla’s daughter, Landry, was being targeted by vulgar taunts earlier in the week.Lane and Kayla got divorced in 2016.

The couple remains officially separated, although they appear to have rekindled their relationship.Layla also posted an Instagram story of a Mississippi road sign on Friday, suggesting that she’ll watch the LSU vs.Ole Miss game and support Lane in person.Hopefully Layla isn’t attending the game to check whether Ole Miss fans do indeed “Be nice” to her ex-husband.

If so, she’ll surely end up disappointed....
