Bomb threat at California Montessori school prompts police response

A Northern California elementary school was evacuated Tuesday after officials received a bomb threat, authorities said.The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded around 1 p.m.to California Montessori School on Kermit Lane in Carmichael after the school received the threat.The campus was evacuated as deputies and bomb-detection dogs swept the property, according to the sheriff’s office.
