Prepare for some truly “Sweet Emotion.”After cancelling the bulk of their 2023-24 farewell tour due to Steven Tyler’s sustained vocal injury, Aerosmith announced they’ll play a pair of star-studded “California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends” concerts this fall at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl.Their two gigs are slated to go down:Thursday, Oct.297 p.m.Sunday, Nov.

16:30 p.m.They won’t be going it alone either.Special guests joining the the Rock Hall of Famers include Guns N’ Roses, Run-DMC, Billy Idol, Eric Church and Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine.Heart, The Black Crowes, Chad Smith (of the Red Hot Chili Peppers), Jerry Cantrell (of Alice In Chains) and Sammy Hagar are just a few of the other huge names sharing the stage with the classic rock icons. In total, 19 acts are poised to listed to take part in the two-day extravaganza alongside Tyler, Joe Perry and co.with more “surprise announcements to come.”Although we can’t guarantee what songs the group will take to the stage, Set List FM indicates the Boston natives typically performed approximately 18-20 tracks per concert in 2023.“Dream On,” “Walk This Way,” “Cryin’,” “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” and, of course, “Sweet Emotion” were just a few of the most notable fan favorites they rocked.“[Their] energy was not what you would expect for a band from the 70’s in their 70’s,” Iron City Rocks noted in a review of a September 2023 show in Pittsburgh.“[Steven’s] gyrations haven’t changed in decades.

There was no drop-off in energy…The first time I saw Aersomith [was] in 1990 on the Pump tour. This Aerosmith was frankly better.”Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Saturday, Oct.
